Spend a day or two in Butte and Anaconda to learn about the mining history of this area. Visit a mine, take the trolley to discover historic Butte.

Take a boat trip on the Missouri or go to the Lewis and Clark Caverns and follow in the footsteps of Lewis and Clark. Learn about the pioneers and settlers. Find out about the powerful and peaceful Chief Joseph of the Nez Perce who outwitted the U.S. Army several times. Visit a nearby ghost town.
